I got a domain name from network solutions, now I just need to find a place to put the website so I can redirect it there. I’d like something free and preferably add free. Currently I’ve been using Blogger and Tumblr which are ok, but since they’re for blogs and my site is not a blog, it’s not really a good fit as I have to do a lot to remove as much of the blog features as possible. I will probably purchase a website from themeforest if that helps. Any help would be appreciated.

I have been messing around with forums FOREVER. PHPbb, IPB, etc. It comes very natural and I know their perks and limitation. I have not messed with blogging software before, so I need your help. What is some free (or cheap) software that will allow me to create a home page, where it displays the news feed (pretty much a blog) and has a download system integrated as well. It needs to be able to support themes, or be able to be customized.
Basically, I want to start releasing weekly/monthly videos in High Quality while sharing news about the videos in between. I don’t want a pre-hosted package, I would have to be able to install it on my Webserver. Thank you!
